Towing capacity in a Jeep Grand Cherokee
The Jeep Grand Cherokee has always been built with a unibody chassis that allows you to tow a different amount than a body-on-frame chassis. The Jeep Wrangler is the gold standard when it comes to off-road capability. The Jeep Wagoneer is a full-size SUV that delivers more horsepower and more towing capability than the Grand Cherokee. The Wagoneer operates with a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine called the Hurricane Twin-Turbo that generates 420 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque.
