Explore the Trim Levels of the Ram 1500

The Ram 1500 is a dependable pickup truck that is loved by North Attleboro and Franklin, MA drivers for its power, durability and great features. It offers numerous trim levels as well, so there's a great Ram 1500 for everyone available at our Massachusetts dealership in North Attleboro. Here, we delve further into the different trim levels and all of their great features.

The Tradesman

The new RAM 1500 Tradesman is the most cost-effective option. It comes with an electronically-controlled transmission and a standard engine oil cooler. Inside, the rear seat comes in a 40/20/40 configuration, and you'll get durable vinyl flooring. There's also a 12V power outlet, six audio speakers, an auxiliary input, and a backup camera.

Outside, you'll find 18-inch steel wheels with all-season rubber, as well as a Class III tow hitch with a seven-pin wiring harness. The RAM Tradesman is rated to tow up to 12,750 pounds when properly equipped; the max payload is 2100 pounds. This trim gets the job done for a great value.

The Big Horn

The Big Horn (known as the Lone Star in Texas) trim comes with 18-inch aluminum wheels, a leather-covered steering wheel with audio buttons, and fog lights. You'll also get chrome bumpers, grille work, and door handles. With an upgrade to the crew cab, you'll get plenty of in-the-floor storage. There's a five-inch touchscreen display, but we recommend upgrading to the larger 8.4-inch unit for better usability.

The Laramie

The RAM Laramie trim is a more luxurious option for those in Pawtucket, RI who use their trucks as mobile offices. This quad cab pickup comes with heated and ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, and power seat adjustability. You'll be comfortable, no matter the time of year. The 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen is standard, as is Android Auto/Apple CarPlay compatibility. For an additional cost, you can get a 12-inch touchscreen with built-in navigation.

The Rebel

The new RAM Rebel comes in a Crew or Quad Cab configuration. 4WD is standard; there's no 2WD option. The Rebel's appearance is rugged and off-road ready, and the chrome grille is replaced with a blacked-out unit. Tow hooks and 33-inch Goodyear tires complete the rough-and-tumble aesthetic. You'll get LED fog lights, headlights, and taillights, as well as a locking differential, a dampening tailgate, and a power rear window. The driver gets a 12-way power-adjustable seat.

The Laramie Longhorn

The final two trims are available only as Crew Cabs, but you can get them with 2WD. The new Laramie Longhorn has premium leather upholstery, as well as metal, leather, and wooden interior trim. 20-inch aluminum wheels are standard, as are chrome side steps, tow hooks, and LED projector-style headlights.

The Limited

As fantastic as your other options are, the new RAM 1500 Limited is a tough act to follow. It's the most luxurious trim, coming with standard navigation, a 12-inch touchscreen, and the Uconnect infotainment system. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard, as is a wireless device charging pad. A Harman Kardon 19-speaker audio system is a worthy upgrade. Standard exterior touches include blind-spot monitoring, active-leveling air suspension, and powered running boards. With the Limited, you'll always travel in style and comfort.
